Church School Ysgol Pant Pastynog is a Church of Wales voluntary controlled school. In 1864, Peter Jones left a plot of land in his will with the intent of building a school in Prion for the children and the poor of the parish. Since then, an extra room was built in 1890 and a canteen in 1960. There are four classrooms – one for Meithrin and Derbyn, one for Yrs 1 and 2, one for Yrs 3 and 4, and the other for Yrs 5 and 6. The School Hall is used for activities such as group work, musical instrument lessons, physical education and co-worship. We have a close link and are a part of St Asaph Dioceses family. Click on the link here for more information. Final Section 50 Report – see copy Christian Ethos and Values – see copy. What makes our Church School special?
